when illness hits we should remember that this period of time is part of the whole life.  this is not just a non-time to be shoved aside, but a portion of time that counts.  it is part of the well person’s life, as well as part of the sick person’s life (95).

  1. Beautiful photo :: beautiful family :: beautiful reflections. I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with love, warmth, good company, and delicious food.

(Did a postcard arrive at your house from me?)

  2. Such a beautiful photo! Excellent things on which to meditate. I need to get back into some Edith, it has been such a long time. I think in times of struggle within a family, it is good to rest on the knowledge that our Maker is working to refine each of us.
