we made butter ala Angela at Salt of the Earth Farm!  and Almanzo’s pancakes from this wonderful book…well, ours used Bisquick instead of yeast and buckwheat flour.  but if you insist on perfection or nothing, you often get nothing!  here’s a link to our celebration last year; it has a wonderful little video and coloring sheet.
