The Wonder Project :: Next Steps

Gratitude arises from paying attention, from being awake in the presence of everything that lives within and without us.  –David Whyte in Consolations

Ah, we made it!  I hope that you feel just a little more attuned to the wonder of your everyday life. The month is over, but I want to leave you with a few practices that will help you finish the year with gratitude and expectation.

Gratitude Week starts today!

The collection of women who participate are awake to the wonder and giving thanks.  Watch #GratitudeWeek_2016 this week and consider joining us.  It will be an awakening.

Tomorrow is All Saints Day!

There are free coloring sheets at Paper Dali and at Sleightholm Folk Art…and there’s nothing like coloring to quiet your mind and steady your heart.

December Glimmers

This month my kids and I enjoyed Laurie Blackwell’s Study in Skulls–a collection of thoughtful journal and art prompts.  Looking forward to December Glimmers too!

Come Thou Long Expected

Our winners for the giveaway are @anneneulieb and @laurasuz3!  I will be in contact via Instagram and get the prizes out to you.  For the rest of you, this practice was so enlivening and encouraging last year.  I’m getting all my supplies ready now because Advent comes early this year!  I can’t wait for this still point of creative connection in the midst of the whirl of Advent and Christmas.  Keep your eyes wide…

  1. Thank you so much for the shout-out, Kortney. December Glimmers is 31 days of thoughtful and positive material, just right for any age. I’m also planning a class about the desert that will take place at the end of January. I appreciate all your support and absolutely love the photo and quote on this post.
