our friend Troy has been living in Paris and painting. sounds amazing, right? well, it looks amazing too. these are just photographs of his paintings. i wonder what the surface is like. and the scale…later in the slideshow, he’s standing next to some of the pieces, so you can see just how large the paintings are. and the subject matter…i’ve been thinking lots about the laying on of hands as i carry baby Nicolas around.
for money, he was the church janitor. maybe if i vacuumed more, i’d paint more too. it couldn’t hurt.
i love this boy. and he’s coming home in July. we will celebrate.
