tangle much?

of late, we’ve been drawing together using zentangle methods.  i first heard the term from Joy at Memoria Arts.  then a few months later, the library hosted a workshop on a Sunday afternoon.  coffee + drawing sounded like the perfect respite.  i learned a few designs at the workshop, and then headed home to teach the children.

we’ve since gotten a book called The Art of Zentangle that we’ve been using for inspiration.  the children see zentangles in everything!  this is a great method for drawing together with lots of different ages and abilities.  many of the tangles are simple enough that everyone can be successful.  time together spent drawing is always a gift!
