The Wonder Project :: Space Set Apart

Just like it can help to have time set aside, a special place set aside can draw your attention back to your Wonder Project.

The Wonder Project

It can be as simple as a candle on the end table that you light each time you write in your journal.  The scent and warm light will root you in the physical and enrich your practice.  Or maybe clearing off a shelf in the bookcase to hold the books you’re collecting or treasures from a walk outside.

In Reggio schools, teachers create provocations–groupings of objects objects that elicit a response and help remind students of their true work.  Maybe leaving your journal and favorite pen next to your chair each evening or setting your walking shoes by the door.  These little nudges will make it easier to do the work you want to do.
