within the beauty and wonder of celebrating the church year, we get the chance to experience our ordinary time bumping up against eternity. and we get to experience it year after year. time moves ever forward, but in the church year we get to spiral around again to the great feast and fasts. i’ve gathered here various posts that i’ve written in years past. it does me good to revisit what’s here. to remember. and so we begin.
first, some general thoughts on keeping the liturgy of the home and parenting in the pew and (not) being catholic. and then two collections of quotes from the wise woman, Gladys Hunt, that point me toward just the sort of family culture i hope lives at our house.
