She will like the story book, _Poonam’s Pet_. I vote for the penguin. _Mr. Popper’s Penguin_ is a fun read, too.
How about a really sweet kitty? We have an extra one!! The same color as a penguin too. Or solid black, your choice. 🙂 A duck is actually almost do-able. Monkeys are kind of high maintenance.
