watching + reading
can you believe that i’d made it all these 39 years without reading or watching A Room with a View? liked the book, loved the movie. i think might have liked the book better on audio…
just finished Q’s Legacy by Helene Hanff. and now i want to watch a production of 84, Charing Cross Road. i also want to read Arthur Quiller-Couch…available free on amazon. might the the first book i ever read on a device. maybe.
looking forward to starting Mansfield Park on audio…any recommendations for which movie version is best?
I loved the book Room with a View! I’ll have to look into the movie. 🙂 I enjoyed both the book and the movie 84 Charing Cross Road, too, and the book’s sequel. The only Mansfield Park version that isn’t atrocious is the old BBC version, which is as slow paced as the book, so it’s not the greatest movie. 🙂 But the newer version is simply terrible.
