books and such at the end of march

late last night i posted updates at goodreads…as always a few more books!  we’re almost a quarter of the way through the year, and i’m moving steadily toward my goal of reading 114 books this year.  even later last night i started on a delicious treat of a book called Austenland by Shannon Hales. it’s about a woman whose real life boyfriends can’t compete with Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.  more specifically with Mr. Darcy as played by Colin Firth!   just perfect after the somewhat heavier reading of this last week.

we’re also getting ready for Poetry Month with The Barefoot Book of Classic Poems and Save Your Sleep: A Collection of Classic Children’s Poetry.  we’ll be reading more William Blake too.  there are plans for a poetry tea with our homeschool friends in the works as well.  how are you celebrating Poetry Month?
