intentions

1 September 2009 by Kortney

back to school…a sign of so many beginnings. even though our children don’t go to school, i can’t help thinking and planning for this time. here are my intentions for our next year together, our first year as four instead of three.

to move with grace through the day

to respond with joy

to say yes

to love my life as it has been given

to bring peace to my children

to order our days aright

to rest fully

to be outside

to follow the seasons

to love

**UPDATED**you can find other mothers’ intentions at study in brown , Here in the Bonny Glen and Blue Yonder

I really need to set some intentions. So much upheaval (all good but still upheaval) makes it difficult to me to stay focused. Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂

yes, Tara…puts me in the mind of a Wendell Berry poem: Love changes, and in change is true.
