birth, education, marriage, tragic events, successes, failures…never static, a christian family is a mobile blown by the gentle winds of the Holy Spirit…never static, with always a new fascination in discovering new points of communication as human beings who are growing and developing (30-31).

when illness hits we should remember that this period of time is part of the whole life.  this is not just a non-time to be shoved aside, but a portion of time that counts.  it is part of the well person’s life, as well as part of the sick person’s life (95).

when people insist on perfection or nothing, they get nothing (74).

    Such a beautiful photo! Excellent things on which to meditate. I need to get back into some Edith, it has been such a long time. I think in times of struggle within a family, it is good to rest on the knowledge that our Maker is working to refine each of us.
