a great board book with funny flaps to see just what’s inside!

i am not always a Critter fan, but this book is quite sweet.

we love Cathryn Falwell!  and this book is among her best.

sweet rhymes, crazy animal names, lots of breastfeeding…of course we like this one.

all the animals at the barn wonder together about “the new one.”

for years, we read this one in a board book edition till a friend gave us the full edition.  so many more wonderful illustrations.
