Homeschool Checklists
Never in 10,000 years would I have thought I’d be advocating checklists! But even though our days were full, I would get to the end of a week and feel like we hadn’t accomplished much. So, I started to keep track of what we do to quiet that nagging sense of never doing enough.
Four weeks of lists fit on a single page. I love having even this bare-bones record of our days. Reading aloud, phonics practice, piano, a trip out and about–these are reliably happening each week along with math and language lessons.
I started using bits of painted papers to adorn the rather bare sheets. This wise owl makes me happy! And even the simplest line work image is wowing me on the painted magazine pages.
Oooh, what a pretty and creative way to keep track!
You are amazing! How do you do it all? Love you.
Love to you, mama! See you soon…but Happy Birthday before that!
