sabbath rest

as we heed God’s word, let us pray for mercy:

have mercy on us, O Lord, for we have sinned.

for the times when we chosen to live in darkness rather than in your light:

for the times we have closed our ears and our hearts to your word:

for the times when we have refused to love you and our neighbor.

may God keep us steady and without blame until the last.
